Confluence 2026
From a Complex photoshoot image of A$AP Rocky cleaning his grill with a knife to an intricate and dessert-themed ceramic pot, Confluence 2026 serves an evocative feast for the senses. The annual Millbrook faculty art show—the first Warner Gallery show curated by new faculty member Lindsay Peyton—exhibits the relevant, applied expertise of the school’s talented art instructors.
This year’s exhibition included contributions from each of the visual art instructors in the Art Department. The work on display is presented in a variety of mediums:
- Joe Raciti (Art Department Chair) — A ceramic sculpture titled “Toe Pot” and a series of oil printmaking ink pieces featuring campus architecture
- Kiernan Pazdar (Drawing, Painting & Multimedia Instructor) — Two oil paintings in her unique, bold style
- Sarah MacWright (Photography & Architecture Instructor) — A series of whimsical katazome (rice-paste resist) pieces
- Owen Moon (Ceramics Instructor) — Two large marble tiles with subtle ceramic highlights
- Glynis Carpenter (Photography Instructor) — Several detailed portraits of celebrities and models
- Lindsay Peyton (Drawing & Painting Instructor) — A massive oil painting titled “The Music Room”
When students return next week, the Warner Gallery will be waiting to welcome them with their teachers’ incredible artwork as inspiration for the coming school year. Faculty artists are proud to show their work, but they’ll be far prouder when that work is soon swapped out for their students’ creations.
