Millbrook vs. Chase

Sam Brundrett '08 - 19 points
Anthony Yip '08 - 12 points
Jae Hwa Lee '09 - 7 points

Despite looking rusty after a long weekend break, Millbrook overcame a
relentless Chase Collegiate squad to capture their second victory in a
row.  From the opening tip-off, Millbrook jumped ahead and never
looked back.  Their man-to-man defense created many turnovers and fast
break opportunities.  Chase, however, refused to go quietly and cut
the lead from ten to four at the end of the half.  In the second half,
Millbrook switched to a full-court press and again built a significant
lead.  With four minutes remaining and the outcome almost certain,
Chase mounted a stunning charge.  Behind torrid shooting they cut the
lead to three with one minute left.  In the end, Millbrook regained
composure and secured the win.

Guard Sam Brundrett '08 came up with steal after steal that he
converted into fast break layups.  His backcourt partner, Anthony Yip
'08, chipped in with a good shooting performance.  Millbrook held a
size advantage in the paint, and center Jae Hwa Lee '09 gave one of
his better offensive efforts.  Guards Jimmy Heffernan '09 and George
Whalen '09 provided solid relief off the bench.
