Millbrook bests Hoosac, falls to Hotchkiss on a windy course
The Millbrook six set ambitious goals for themselves on Hotchkiss School's home course and met or came close to them in spite of the cold, blustery conditions. Andrea Sassatelli continued her excellent racing season with a time of 18:20 for the 5k. Sass finished ahead of the rest of the field by over two minutes and logged one of the fastest girls' times on the course.
Millbrook runners acquitted themselves well against much larger Hotchkiss and Hoosac teams. Joiee Downs took sixth in the race overall and second against Hoosac. Trinity Robinson was in next, and Mallory Cassidy was only 30 seconds behind; both had spectacular finishes. Anya Kelmanovich and Emily Goico pushed each other for most of the race and finished in their best times this season. Next up is our Family Weekend race at home against Kent School and Ethel Walker!
