Before VIth formers leave Millbrook, they cap off their time here with a special project in which they explore their interests and present their findings to the community. This Culminating Experience for Seniors (CES) helps prepare graduating students for life after high school, as it encourages them to learn more about themselves and how to communicate about their passions to others.
A two-day event, the entire community attends CES talks in spaces all over campus. The experiences presented this year demonstrated a wide range of interests, from culinary arts to complicated craft projects to medical studies. There were too many amazing projects to detail here, but some highlights include a book of poetry published by Ryan Ellison ’26, Daniel Yang ’26’s solo camping adventure in the wilderness of Millbrook, and multiple explorations of writing for stage and screen.
Driven by unique personalities, this year’s CES presentations were filled with both laughter and personal reflection, showcasing the growth students experience here. Yet again, the festival proved that Millbrook is accomplishing its goal of training students for lives of meaning and consequence.
