Here’s a quick roundup of what 15 of our former student-athletes are up to:
1. Amadou Fall ’25
A Mustang hoops star just a year ago, Amadou is already making a huge impact in his first year playing for the Lincoln University Lions.
Early in January, he earned a CIAA Defensive Player of the Week award. He was just getting started, though, as later that month he set a Lions record with eight blocks in a game against Elizabeth City State.

Unsurprisingly, he also made the CIAA All-Rookie team to cap off an incredible first season at the NCAA DII level.
2. Chase Garcia ’25
A freshman at New York University, Chase and his teammates went dancing in the NCAA DIII Men’s Basketball Tournament. They knocked off Gettysburg College in the first round and were eliminated by Wesleyan in round two.
Chase helped his team make the postseason by averaging 1.9 points in 7.8 minutes per game.
3. Joseph Evangelista ’25
Joseph is a freshman hooper at SUNY Cortland. His squad also headed to the NCAA DIII Tournament, taking on Franklin & Marshall in the first round. After handily defeating the Diplomats, they lost by one point to Endicott in the second round.
During the regular season, Joseph put up 2.3 points in 3.3 minutes per game in his first year with the Red Dragons.
4. Piper Smith ’25
In a victory over SUNY Canton on January 23, Piper
netted the game-winning goal for the SUNY Plattsburgh women's hockey team. It was her third goal of the season on only 15 shots, helping the Cardinals to a 13-6-0 record so far this season.

5. David Ambuhl ’25
David is playing in the National Collegiate Development Conference for the Jersey Hitmen. In a recent clash with the Worcester Railers, he
scored the game-winning goal during a Hitmen power play.
6. Caleigh Murphy ’24
Caleigh and the Franklin Pierce University women’s hockey team won the NEWHA championship with a 2-0 win over Saint Anselm College. She scored four goals in the Ravens’ first two tournament contests, including her first NCAA hat trick on Friday, February 27, against Sait Michael’s College. Caleigh then assisted on both goals in the championship game, helping Franklin Pierce advance to the NCAA Tournament, where they'll face Quinnipiac in a regional semifinal on Thursday.

7. Chris Torres ’24
Chris is a sophomore on the Siena College men’s basketball team. He was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team in early March.

8. Pedro Leon ’24
In his second appearance of the 2026 season for Holy Cross baseball, Pedro delivered a gem of a start in a tough loss to Florida International University. The sophomore allowed just one unearned run on two hits while striking out five over four innings of work.

While the Crusaders didn’t pick up the win, Pedro earned a
Patriot League Baseball Player of the Week honorable mention for his efforts.
9. Ethan Kessler ’22
A senior on the Gettysburg College lacrosse team,
Ethan was recently named a USILA DIII Preseason All-American. The attacker earned the All-American nod with an incredible 2025 season, in which he was the bullets’ third-best scorer, racking up 43 points on 31 goals and 12 assists.

10. Tommi Nash ’22
A senior forward and team captain, Tommi played in her 100th career game for the Curry College Colonels on February 13. In those 100 games, she’s scored 10 goals and collected 13 assists.
11. Tommy Burke ’20
After a
brief stint with the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in the National Lacrosse League last year, Tommy is bringing his game back to the East Coast. The faceoff specialist
inked a one-year deal with the Premier Lacrosse League’s Boston Cannons in December.

He’ll compete for a job with Boston’s current faceoff specialist,
Zac Tucci, who posted a 43.9 percent win rate in 2025.
12. Shakur Mohammed ’21
Millbrook soccer phenom Shakur (Shak) Mohammed ’21 took the pitch for a new team when the MLS soccer season kicked off in February. Nashville SC acquired Shak in a trade with Orlando City SC for a third-round draft pick.

A midfielder, Shak spent most of last season with Orlando City B (MLS NEXT Pro), scoring 11 goals in 27 appearances. He’s appeared in five matches with Orlando’s First Team since joining the squad in 2023.

13. Ousseni Bouda ’19
A forward on the San Jose Sharks (MLS), Ousseni has had a great start to 2026. In the preseason, he delivered a goal in the final game of his team’s undefeated run through the Coachella Valley Invitational. He then scored his first goal of the season against Atlanta United, helping his team
win 2-0 and improve to 2-0-0 on the season.

14. Edith Racine ’01
Associate Head Coach of the Cornell Big Red women's ice hockey team, Edith helped guide Big Red to a third-straight Ivy League championship, followed by a trip to the ECAC Hockey Championship semifinals.

15. Tad O’Had ’99
Kansas City Mavericks Head Coach Tad O’Had managed in the ECHL All-Star Game in January. This year the teams were chosen via draft and split into the Stars and the Stripes, named for the hosting Allen Americans. Tad coached the Stars, which took the short end of a
17-12 decision.

winningest coach in Mavericks franchise and Kansas City pro hockey history, O’Had is guiding his team to yet another great season. The Mavericks currently top the ECHL with 87 points.
