Millbrook Defeats Masters in OT Battle

Millbrook defeated a talented Master's 71-65 in OT to win their 5th consecutive game. Fuld '25 came out strong with 9 points and 4 rebounds in the first quarter. Swift '23, Cancer '24, Fuld '25, and Farell '24 all contributed to Millbrook's 21 point push in the second quarter to put the Mustangs up 7 going into the half. The Mustangs struggled to find points in the third quarter, losing their lead going into the 4th. Strong defense and transition scoring brought the Mustangs back into a tied game in the final seconds. In the last 3 seconds Farell '24 was charged with her 5th foul after driving hard to the hoop. DeStazio '23 jumped in, proving to be the defensive boost the Mustangs needed. Cancer '24 and Swift 23' drew 6 fouls and scored a collective 11 point in OT to lead the team to victory.
