Mustangs Secure a Win Over Gators

The Mustangs played a tight first quarter against the Gators and found themselves in a back and forth quarter, finishing up 13-9 going into the 2nd. In the second, Islay McGowan '26 lit a spark for the Mustangs and shifted the teams energy by scoring a quick lay up and hustling defensively. Millbrook then captured a few stops and went 100% from the free throw line with Challe Cancer '24 going 5/5 from the line. Outscoring the Gators 13-4, Millbrook went up 26-13 going into the half. In the second half, Millbrook was able to convert another 18 points with contributions from Cancer, Norah Fuld '25, Jess Farrell '24, and Scout Swift '23, to hold onto their lead to secure a 44-33 win.
