Mustangs Down Gryphons 50-40 in Tight Match

The Mustangs played a tight 3 quarters against the Gryphons with only a 1-point differential at the end of each quarter. With a few starters losing key minutes because of foul trouble, some 'Stangs had to step up and battle a well coached Gryphons team. Millbrook was then able to outscore Holy Child 16-5 in the 4th quarter to pull out a 10 point win. Challe Cancer '24 led the team by scoring over 50% of the teams final score with 26 points and by ripping down 8 rebounds and securing 3 steals. Key players like Beth Najork '23, Norah Fuld '25, Scout Swift '23 and Jess Farrell '24 were also able to chime in with key shots and great defensive plays to help secure a win.
