Millbrook Drops Home Opener

The Mustangs made progress on both ends of the floor, but Brunswick made shots, and Millbrook did not. The offense moved the ball more effectively, and the defense played several long possessions to a draw. Henry Frankenbach '19 played solid defense up top, and Nick Brode '18 crashed the boards effectively all night. Several players had opportunities for big scoring nights, but the shots would not fall, even from point-blank range. John Ewald '19 made his first career basket at the buzzer.
One indication of the effort was that Mustangs went to the line for 20 free throws; Millbrook also missed 11 of those shots.
