Joiee Downs finishes 3rd at Gordy Glover Invitational
Millbrook girls had a mixed day out on the Suffield Academy course, but ultimately finished third overall.
The Millbrook girls traveled to Suffield Academy on October 4th for the annual Gordy Glover Invitational. We were missing a few runners, and unseasonably warm temperatures made it a challenging race overall. Freshman Joiee Downs ran her own race, however, and earned a third place trophy in 24:04. In tight finishes were the following runners:

Linna Du - 24th 29:08
Anya Kelmanovich - 31st 33:12
Nga Ho - 32nd 34:40
Newcomer Chloe HoSang also completed her very first 5k. The team enjoyed delicious food and ice cream at Grassroots and Deep Roots in Granby on the way home!
