Andy Sassatelli takes 9th at Bowdoin XC Classic
Millbrook's course was tough and the sun was hot, yet the Millbrook girls drew on each other's strength and drive to race well. Frederick Gunn's Blake Baumgartner won the race, but after that it was all Millbrook, in 2nd (Joiee), 3rd (Ingrid), 4th (Jaicee), and 5th (Eloise) before the next FG runner crossed. That's how you pack! Linna and Nga took 7th and 8th, respectively, securing the win. Thanks to our fans, and we hope to see some of you next week at Suffield's Gordy Glover Invitational!
And THIS JUST IN: Andy Sassatelli '28 competed at the Bowdoin XC Classic at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls on Saturday morning. Sass took 2nd in her race and 9th overall in 19:22 on a challenging course. Superb racing against some of the best XC runners in NY, NJ, and CT!
