Millbrook traveled to Canterbury and took on a tough Canterbury side. The Mustangs were frustrated in the first half and couldn't generate clear finishing chances despite holding the majority of the play. The second half brought some more forays into the Canterbury half for the visitors. Marcus Paul '27 broke the scoring ice with a well struck penalty kick early in the second stanza. Then the Mustangs leaned on some IIIrd form magic from Tahirou Traore '29 and Caleb Harrison '29. Traore made some aggressive runs forward. On one of those runs, he took the ball to the end line, went around his defender in the box, and drew a foul that allowed Paul to convert his second penalty of the game.
Canterbury continued to press with their direct style. However, Traore wanted more and after receiving a great pass on a counter attack he unselfishly fed fellow 3rd form teammate Caleb Harrison who deftly cut back the goalie and slotted home a clinical finish to get the scoreline to a more comfortable 3-0 for the Mustangs.
