Our best showing to date
As we are a young team that is quite small, it is unexpected that we could beat two strong track teams, one of them in a division above us. The boys came close to Cheshire, losing by 72 to 55 (we never managed to get even half of their score last season). The girls are not as well rounded in the field events, but beat Cheshire in the running events 41 to 32 (way to go girls) but lost overall 81 to 42. Williston was just too strong for either of our teams to get too close to them (Boys 25-109, Girls 26-110)

We had many participating members on our team score very well. In fact, Morgan Moffit, Edward Opoku, and David Bottenberg all won events while Matty Rudac, Harrison Bluestone, David Westcott, Andrew Tartaro, Max Morse-Golub, Jackson Lee, Kelsey McEvoy, Catherine Luchars, Amanda Clizbe, Ruth King, Sophia Denney, Lucie Collimore, and India Patterson all scored points. David Westcott and Morgan Moffit had the distinction of being the only two members to score in three individual events, which is the most allowed events. Beyond all of these members, there were so many people on the team who simply ran amazing races and did the best they could possibly do. In fact, there was not a member of the team competing who did not give it their all. Way to go team!
