Warner Gallery Features Convergence, Works By Miani Carnevale

Convergence is an exhibit of self-portraits that mirror a moment in time. Each piece represents a stop along the way of a journey being enthusiastically traveled.
Miani is a multi-sensual artist who creates visual movement upon a plaster surface using mixed media and found objects. Her process focuses heavily on building, layering, and sanding, which allows previous applied color and texture to reveal itself.

Miani’s work is very much alive. It changes with the time of day, time of year, and of course, with your involvement. The pieces beg to be touched and experienced. Allow them to draw you beneath their surface so that you too might see yourself reflected.

Convergence opens with an artist reception November 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and runs through January 7th.
