Higher divisions still too much for the Mustangs
Kent School had a great showing with 5 very strong runners against Millbrook
With an away race against Kent we know we have strong competition as their school is much bigger and they have a strong focus on athletics. On their very dicficult course they have a enw runner breaking 17 flat and a few other runners coming in close behind. Sheldon came in first for Millbrook, in 6th place, with a time of 19:08 followed by Archer in 19:33 and Johnny at 19:55. Tyler Shmalz continues to have great races with a time at 20:25 but David Westcott's battle with his ankles kept him at a 21:23.
Alex Wattles came in 6th for Millbrook with a strong 21:30 with Ben Marr having his strongest showing this season at 21:56 earning him the Mustang of the week. Ryan Downes finished in 20:01 while Trevor Burt passed people on the last straight away to finish in 22:23.
Finishing out Millbrook's team was Jack Roach (25:34), Max Morse-Golub (26:18), Alex Chalk (26:19) and Derek Brodeur (28:26).
