Millbrook Blanks Canterbury
The Girls JV Soccer Team came out flying in their recent game against Canterbury. The Lady Mustangs scored less than a minute into the game when Brenna Connelly notched her first goal of the season. The girls kept the pressure on, scoring three more times in the first half. Bailey Summers scored the second and third goal for the Lady Mustangs. Bria Horsley tallied her third goal of the season just before the half.
The second half was alot like the first, especially for Brenna Connelly. Brenna scored twice in the second half to record her first career hat trick. Millbrook contolled much of the game, allowing just a handful of shots from visiting Canterbury. Sarah Collins was up to the test, stopping all shots to record the shutout. The girls played a complete game highlighted by their captains Emily Hoffman and Amelia Ferris. Millbrook takes on Kent this Wednesday at home.
