Girls Avenge Early Season Loss To Greenwich

The Mustangs opened Millbrook's Winter Weekend with a bang on Friday night with big a 7-2 victory over division rival Greenwich Academy. This was a great win considering the girls had suffered a close defeat at Greenwich earlier in the season. Highlights included Courtney Bolduc's well-deserved first goal of the season, and a beautiful snipe from Emily Even on the power play. The line of Meg Ahern, Melissa Sheeran, and Geneva Wagoner supplied the rest of the scoring. That line really came together and played one of their best games of the season. Greenwich applied good pressure throughout the game, but Millbrook played well in the defensive zone and took advantage of nearly every opportunity. Morgan Moffat rebounded well from a tough loss to Westminster and played another solid game in net.
