High Spirits

The Millbrook 3rds team played well against a skilled and gritty Rumsey varsity squad, demonstrating growth in their ability to execute strategies that we covered in practice. Logan Melillo's goal for the mustangs drew a thunderous cheer from the rest of the team. The volume and positivity coming from our huddle at the end of the game tells the whole story: the current Millbrook 3rds team looks forward instead of backward, learns from our losses, plays with heart, and cares about each other. We couldn't be prouder coaches. We appreciated the fair and competitive play from our opponent, and were impressed by the young team's tenacity. We wish them luck with the rest of their season.
