The boys thirds team showed signs of improved field vision and passing, and earned their first win of the season.
The mustangs scored six goals in their contest against Forman, several of which were supported by impressive assists. We were pleased to see the team being patient when they had a little space and assessing their passing options. They showed an improved ability to think sequentially, predicting how a play might unfold, and pass the ball to where a teammate was headed. Scoring for the mustangs were Lachlan Whalen, Luke Molland, Ray Kim, and Trever Klug. Klug deserves special mention for scoring a hat trick in the match. We appreciated the competitive and fair play of our opponent.
