Hard-Fought Against Berkshire

Millbrook played Berkshire today in a fun and competitive match. Millbrook trailed by a goal or two for the majority of the game, but Berkshire pulled away when we let up for just a few minutes in the middle of the second half. Berkshire's strengths were their speed and their transition game in the midfield. The Millbrook girls did a great job attempting to make passes through the midfield, but they did not always complete these passes. We turned over a number of possessions in this way and these small mistakes added up throughout the afternoon. Millbrook did have some great success on offense scoring on fast breaks and on a few settled offensive plays. The game contained many moments of excitement and brilliant play, but Berkshire took the edge at the end. We will get back to work at practice tomorrow and prepare for our double-header against IMS and Hotchkiss this weekend!
