Millbrook traveled to Storm King today to play them for the second time this season. Storm King's squad made great progress from the first to the second game. They played a very aggressive and physical style, and it was a fantastic test for the Millbrook squad. Storm King started the game controlling possession, but the Millbrook girls would not concede. Isabella Puccinelli put Millbrook on the board with the first three goals and Millbrook started to find their momentum. The settled offense created some great opportunities for Anni Elwell, Greta Garschagen and Dora Harag. On defense, Kaitlyn Pike and Addie Armah were able to shut down the fast break. The game was close throughout and emotions ran high. In the end, Storm King pulled out the win, but this was a competitive match which the Millbrook team will be able to learn from!
