Cross-Town Rivalry

The Millbrook Girls JV Lacrosse team took on the Hotchkiss Bearcats this afternoon. Hotchkiss had a fast-moving team and an incredible goaltender. While the score suggests a one-sided game, in favor of Hotchkiss, that was not the case at all. Possessions were split 50/50, with Millbrook controlling the first half and Hotchkiss edging them for control in the second. I'm not sure anyone could have predicted the Bearcat goalie's incredible performance today. She was the deciding factor in the game. Isabella Puccinelli put Millbrook's only goal on the scoreboard, but the Millbrook attack put together a very dynamic game. There were a lot of great elements in the game today. We are excited to continue refining our offensive strategy and strengthening our defense in the upcoming games.
