The Girls JV Soccer Team ran into a tough opponent Wednesday, falling to visiting Kent. Kent jumped out to a quick lead tallying the first two goals of the contest. The Lady Mustangs were able to cut Kent's lead in half just prior to the break. Brenna Connelly found the back of the net after a great combination of passes by her teammates.
The girls fought hard the entire game with each team notching two more goals in the second half. Both Whittier Ambrose and Amelia Ferris scored for Millbrook. The game would end in favor of Kent, 4-3. Goalie Sarah Collins finished with double digit saves in net.
Even in the loss, the girls played an outstanding game. They demonstrated great passing and improved on their communication. The team fought hard the entire game with hustle and determination. Bailey Summers and Whittier Ambrose had stand-out games for the Lady Mustangs.
