Silo Challenge Cup

The golfing Mustangs traveled over the hill to participate in the annual Silo Challenge Cup. The event is one of the highlights of the year as parents are invited to play and there is a team net score event that happens simultaneously with the standard team gross score match. Millbrook had parents travel from as far away as Las Vegas and Ontario for the event. The mustangs did not perform as well as last year, but Casey Berninger continued his excellent play and finished 5th out of 36 with a one over par 73 on the Fazio layout. Michael Contino posted a respectable 79, while Michael Rutledge was close on his heels with an 80. CJ List got around the course in 85 strokes and Gus Lee stayed under bogey golf with an 88. Andrew Moawad's 95 was dropped from the team score, but he thoroughly enjoyed the event regardless. The boys have one more event remaining on the calendar and will travel to Farmington for the Kingswood-Oxford Invitational.
