WNEPGI at River Oaks

The golf team traveled to The Club at River Oaks to participate in the Western New England Prep Golf Invitational. On a rain-soaked day, the team placed 15th in the 18-team field. The highlight from Millbrook was Casey Berninger placing 5th in the individual competition with a 1-over 73. It is the first time that a Millbrook player has won individual honors in the event. Michael Contino managed his way around the course in 80, tied for 39th. Gus Lee handled his first 18-hole prep school event in solid fashion and posted an 83, which put him in a tie for 65th. Andrew Moawad was a bit better than bogey golf and carded 88, T75. Michael Rutledge shot a 93, which put him tied for 85th.
