Millbrook falls to Sacred Heart

The JV Girls Lax squad knew that Sacred Heart would be a tough opponent. In years past, Sacred Heart has blown past Millbrook in the first half and Millbrook struggled to maintain a competitive game. This year; however, the Mustangs not only kept up, but gave Sacred Heart something to worry about. Liya Liang made an impressive 13 saves. Though the attack struggled to get shots on cage, the defensive end played beautiful unified defense. Defenders Lucy Burke, Meredith Lee, Suwaiba Mohammed, and Claire Kissane deserve to be mentioned. They played together, they communicated effectively, and made Sacred Heart really work for those 8 goals. Though it was a loss, the Mustangs should be proud of their efforts.
