Holbrook Arts Center has been thrumming with creative activity all year, and the time to see the resulting masterpieces has finally come. The Holbrook Made art exhibit opened on Friday with music, catered snacks, and the Warner Gallery decked out in student-made fine art. Faculty and students crowded the beautiful exhibition space to take in the artwork packing the walls.
More than 70 student artists participated in the show, contributing work in a variety of mediums, including experimental photos, mixed media, ceramics, paintings, and digital photos. The artists used every resource at their disposal to create, evinced by a dress covered in photographs, pictures draped with rope, and a short film on campus scooter culture. The exhibit also features several ceramic pieces completed in the recent kiln firing.
