Playing with Class
The mustangs played in a classy way.
An aggressive and fast Brunswick soccer squad got the best of the Mustangs after a long but beautiful drive to Greenwich today. We were proud of our guys, who played in a very classy way: never escalating the physicality of the game or letting frustration affect their sportsmanship. At the end of the day, the sheer speed of our opponent proved hard to beat.
Captain Michael Philipp asked for everyone's favorite song and put together a playlist for the return journey. This had the effect of elevating the mood for the riders in bus #10. Using music to manage our emotional state seems to be one of our strengths. We want to acknowledge the parents who have been making it out to some of our games. Thank you for your support (and the sweet treats)!
