Despite a drop in temperatures mid-game, the Millbrook squad seemed to enjoy the game and each other's company.
After midfielder Andrew Moawad put away the first goal of the game in 20 seconds or so, the Mustangs seemed instantly confident and embraced working on their short passing. Ray Kim, who also scored three goals in the contest, completed several wonderful give-and-go passes with left midfielder Logan Melillo. After a breakout game in the prior contest, Leo Hou started for Millbrook at forward and put the biscuit in the basket twice. Although he didn't score, Charley Li should also be commended for putting himself in a good position in front of the net. He also showed off some serious defensive containing in the first half. Fans were treated to a new celebration from Ray Kim (a sort of frame made with his hands) and playful antics on the sideline from the younger players. We are grateful to Trinity-Pauling for hosting us, and to our dedicated fans and their pet dogs for all of the support and encouragement.
