More Outstanding Growth

A Millbrook IIIrds squad playing down eight players faced off against a deep Class A Berkshire team on our home turf. The goal the coaches set for our players was to have a better showing than the last time we played Berkshire, when our opponent scored seven goals to our one. We are #proud of what our guys did today, cutting the goal differential by a third despite playing without several starters. We rotated deep through our roster and balanced playing time, allowing some of our younger players to gain valuable experience. They responded with heroic performances. We are pleased to see such deep progress across the whole team. Several of our players commented throughout the game that the team we were playing was a different team, expressing the belief that we always had a chance to win. While the coaches are impressed by our players' positivity and enduring belief in our team, we see a different story emerging: it is our players who are changing, not our opponents. 

We thank Berkshire for a fair and competitive game today, and we tip our hats to our own players, who inspire us by demonstrating a persistent commitment to growth.
