Alumnus Diego Marquez Todeschini '14 Returns to Discuss his CES Experience

Millbrook welcomed alumnus Diego Marquez Todeschini '14 back to campus on Friday, September 9th. Todeschini '14 discussed his CES (Culminating Experience for Seniors) Project, and how it has impacted his experience studying film at Bard College.

All seniors at Millbrook are required to complete a Culminating Experience during their senior year. The purpose of this program is to provide our seniors with an opportunity to develop their intellectual independence in a particular discipline or disciplines by engaging in an authentic intellectual project as part of the culmination of their academic career at Millbrook.

For his CES Project, Todeschini '14 created a series of horror films, with each film focusing on a different aspect of film making; such as storytelling, sound, lighting, and character building.

"It was very rewarding to present my films during the CES Festival my VI form year," said Todeschini '14. "It was fun to learn about filmaking, while also having the freedom to create my own storylines, and dive into a genre I was passionate about."

Todeschini '14 has continued to pursue his passion for film since graduating from Millbrook, and is currently majoring in Film and Electronic Arts at Bard College. We are excited to continue to follow him as he continues to create and grow as a young professional.
