The Psychological Effects of Human-Animal Interactions in a Zoo on Both Parties (ISR)

The Trevor Zoo drew Remy to Millbrook, and she was truly able to channel her lifelong love of animals into several fields of study during her time on campus. Remy examined benefits of human-animal interactions by surveying students before and after spending time with Trevor Zoo ambassador animals, analyzing their stress levels and general feelings of stress or anxiety. Remy identified benefits of interaction for both parties, thereby encouraging students to make the most of their access to animals at the zoo.
