Millbrook Drops a Tough One to Cheshire

The Millbrook Mustangs traveled to Cheshire Academy for our first away game of the season. Ultimately, the Cheshire bats overpowered the strong Millbrook defense. Millbrook looks to get their bats going and find ways to bring the energy for far away games.

Highlights include:

-a beautiful line-drive hit from Jaicee Down’s ‘26 to start the game

-another 5 pitch 2nd inning for the Mustangs - nice catches from Downs at shortstop and Hailey Mesard ‘25 in left field and good fielding of a hard ground ball by Stella Renzi ‘26 at third

-great catches from Jess Trocchio ‘24 and bunt coverage by Ingrid Schmitt ‘26 at first 

-great catches from Kelly Naula ‘24 in centerfield and Abby Hylan ‘25 behind the plate in the 4th inning to shut down a Cheshire run

The Mustangs look to head to Miss Hall’s this Saturday.
