Heart, grit and determination--the girls played with all three, but it just wasn't enough to take the game from Kent. A back and forth fast-paced game-full of excitement. Kent went up 2-0 at the end of the first and then scored quickly in the second to make it 3-0. Millbrook answered soon after with a beautiful goal from Jasiel '24, assisted by Ainley '25. With just a few minutes left in the period, Murphy '24 netted a great goal, assisted by Ainley '25 to make it 3-2. Kent went ahead again in the third and the Mustangs had a hard time getting it out of their defensive end. However, the dug in and each player gave all that they had. Millbrook scored one more (P Smith '25) and then almost tied it up with some nice offensive rushes, but ended just short in the end. J Trocchio '24 played a strong game in net, making several huge saves for Millbrook.
