OT Loss

Despite the heartbreak of the loss in overtime, every member of the team showed up tonight. Deerfield scored first on a deflection off of Millbrook's defense. Four minutes later, Pannacciulli '24 scored with a beautiful shot to tie the game. Halfway through the second, Deerfield went up 2-1. J Smith '26, P Smith '25, and Ainley '25 had some important back checks and creative offensive play. Lots of back and forth play, some key passing, and quick defensive passes to move it out of the Millbrook end led to a goal from Murphy '24, assisted by Tessier '27, in the third. Bontecou Rink was loud with fans, the Millbrook bench was buzzing, and there was lots of excitement for a well-played game by both teams. The Mustangs had the first opportunity in overtime, but soon after, Deerfield controlled it in their offensive end, eventually scoring to win the game.
