The Mustangs shook a bit of the rust off in the first part of the game, finding themselves in their defensive end more than they wanted. However, after the initial few minutes, the team came together to move the puck well and take a number of shots on net. Sadly, Taft was the first to score, and then they were able to hold the 1-0 lead, despite numerous offensive attempts by Millbrook. Trocchio '24 made some huge saves for the team, but Millbrook just couldn't pull out the win.
