Friday Night Lights Victory!
The Mustang faithful were treated to an exciting night of football under the lights and came away with a momentum-building win heading into Millbrook-Pomfret Day. The air was crisp and the field was in remarkably decent shape for the traditional late-season matchup against Forman. Grace Ashford ’24 sang the Star-Spangled Banner and Milly Hype Squad leaders Georgia Elsener ’24 and Gray Goodman ’24 introduced seniors before their final home game.
"It was what memories are made of, our seniors showed up and showed out," said Assistant Coach Pat Malleolo, "After a solid first half the entire team came out for the second half and dominated. Great performances on both sides of the ball, offense executed and defense painfully made their presence felt on every play."
Reinforced by hot dogs, chili, and hot cocoa with marshmallows, fans filled the hillside and cheered their Mustangs on to a decisive 26-14 victory.
