Kent Meet

The boys cross country raced against the Kent School on a somewhat mild and overcast Saturday… and narrowly finished the meet before the weather picked up. The course itself was a bit muddy with a few scattered technical wooded sections. In both the boys and girls races on the day, the times posted were overall much, much slower, indicating a rather demanding and seemingly long-feeling 5k. Sixth former and captain Jack Evans took second place overall in the dual meet with a time of 19:25. Classmate Luke Sosnow ran hard, and managed to pick up places and pass several Kent runners in the final mile loop. He finished seventh overall with a time of 21:18. Teammates Niklas Gradin (13^th), Danny Bergin (14^th), and Roy Ahn (16^th) rounded out the team scoring for Millbrook versus Kent. These three runners ran well on the day, and each had a notable kick in the final stretch of the race. Looking ahead, a mere two races remain on the schedule before the New England Invitational on Saturday, November 11^th.
