Loss

After team bonding, laughing, and sleeping on an almost 4 hour trip to Austin Prep, Millbrook stepped off the bus into the rain ready for the game. Millbrook kept the ball in the offensive end for awhile and then Austin Prep answered with a goal just before the end of the first quarter. The Mustangs scored twice in the second half with goals from Shaye Jasiel '24, assisted by Caroline Saunders '27 and Lila Pannacciulli '24 with an assist from Shaye Jasiel '24. Austin Prep got a goal as well, so the score was 3-2 at the half. Unfortunately, Austin scored one more in the last quarter, but the score didn't reflect the grit and tenacity that Millbrook showed in the second half of the game. The team did a nice job of getting their sticks down on defense and moving the ball up the field, but it just wasn't their day.
