Unfortunately, the Mustangs did not pull out the win, but the game was full of aggressive play. Kent scored the first two goals in the first quarter to take a 2-0 lead. Then Alex Jones '25, scored with just over 5 minutes remaining in the second quarter on an assist from Shaye Jasiel '24. One and a half minutes later, Jones scored again, unassisted, to tie the game. Kent capitalized on their offensive corner to score the tiebreak goal with 12 minutes remaining in the game. Millbrook was not able to score again, but finished with strong defense led by Abby Brown '24, Charlotte Norton '24, and Jess Trocchio '24. to hold Kent to a 3-2 game.
