Every member of the team was locked in and ready for a big game under the lights on Family Weekend. The even matched teams battled up and down the field with constant back and forth action. At the end of the first quarter, Lila Pannacciulli '24 scored, assisted by Alex Jones '25. Five minutes into the second quarter, Frederick Gunn scored to tie the game. The energy was palpable, and the team pulled together to play some of the prettiest field hockey this year, passing well, talking all over the field and supporting each other from the bench. Bea Zorub '25 played aggressively in net, making several key saves to keep the tie, and Christina Bellin '24 hustled all over the field, stopping their offense multiple times. In the 4th quarter, Lily Ainley '25 inserted the ball on a corner to Shaye Jasiel '24, who read the play well and shot the ball in the net passed their defense. Millbrook held the lead for the final 12 minutes and came out with the win!
