Mustangs and Lions Play to a Draw

On a sunny and hot Wednesday afternoon, Millbrook and Kent took to the field to face one another. Kent would strike first with a 30 yard free kick which managed to sail just out Millbrook's keeper, Radly Cherosnick's grip. The lead would not last long as 1o minutes later, Elle O'Brien would crossed the ball to a waiting Merritt Tessier who slid a perfect through ball to Abigail Danso who buried her shot in the lower left corner. From that point forward, both teams look to break the other's back line but both defenses held their own. Cherosnick would come up huge late in the game when she collected a corner kick bouncing in the box and then moments later, came off her line to stuff Kent's streaking forward to perhaps make the save of the day.
