Canterbury Invitational

The boys cross country team opened up their season at the 50^th running of the Canterbury Invitational. Individually and collectively, the team ran well and many Mustangs set PRs, or personal records, on the day. Sixth former and captain Jack Evens led the team and placed fourth overall in a deep field of almost 90 runners. Sixth formers and newcomers to the sport, Luke Sosnow (31^st overall) and George Wilkins (59^thoverall), had gutsy performances and placed second and third on the Millbrook team ladder. Fifth former Niklas Gradin (65^th overall) and sixth former Danny Bergin (73^rd overall) ran steady, posted solid times, and rounded out the team scoring and notched the last two of the top five finishes within the team. Millbrook placed 10^th out of 12 teams overall on the day and is looking forward to their home opener versus Frederick Gunn next weekend.
