Lady Mustangs Drop Season Opener

The Lady Mustangs travelled to Greenwich, CT to take on Class B opponent Greenwich Country Day School. The girls played well and the game was evenly matched. Half time saw the score tied at 0-0. GCDS came out with a little more in their step and after sophomore keeper, Radley Cherosnick, came out of her goal to clear a ball sent over the back line, GCDS's striker managed to run down the ball out on the far wing and one time her shot towards goal before Cherosnick could get back into the net; Cherosnick could only watch the ball dribble into the back of the net for the first goal of the game. GCDS would add one more mid-way through the 2nd half to seal the deal. Next up, Hotchkiss on Monday.
