Millbrook-Hotchkiss Tri-Meet
On Parents Weekend, the Mustangs raced away at Hotchkiss School in a tri-meet between Hotchkiss, Trinity-Pawling, and Millbrook School. The weather was ideal for running, and the course proved to be fast and formidable. Both Hotchkiss and Trinity-Pawling fielded large teams. In the end, Millbrook took third, losing to both Hotchkiss (16-47) and Trinity-Pawling (20-41). Captain Charlie Weisberg ran a solid race, notching fifth (18:40) in a field of 54 total runners. Campbell Thomas squeaked in the top twenty (19th– 20:50), and Liam Kennelly had an individually strong outing, placing 30thoverall in a time of 21:56. Rounding out the Millbrook runners, Forrest Schmitt came in 32nd, Peter Lyon was 34th, and Elijah Grant-Pereira took 46th place overall.
