Tough Salisbury Home Loss

The BV team hosted Salisbury today and played exceptionally well. Our new doubles teams seemed to be working well as Colin and Sam at #2 won their match 8-3 and although Bud and Dan played well, they dropped their #1 match. The Mustangs had a good chance to win the doubles point however, as Nick and Will almost took their match, but ultimately lost 8-3. Singles were also very tight. Colin was up against a highly ranked Navy recruit and lost 1 and 1 but played really well. Dan and Sam both went to a 3rd set tie break and lost. Bud and Drew dropped their matches in straight sets but were also very close. Will was the sole singles winner and did so in the tie breaker third set. The final score was 6-1 but a closer look shows a much closer match with the home team almost prevailing. A very tough Greens Farms up next on Saturday.
