Kent tops Millbrook 64-50 in Competitive Contest

The Millbrook basketball team came out of the gates hot following their momentum from their senior day win vs. KO. They found themselves up as many as 8 in the first half and controlled play for the first 12 minutes. Kent used some excellent coaching adjustments and took advantage of a bit of Millbrook foul trouble to find themselves up 37-30 at the half. The second half was back and forth as shorthanded Mustangs battled but were never able to cut the Kent lead to less than 3 points. Overall it was a good game and Kent has some young talent that will make them a formidable NEPSAC opponent in the years to come. The Mustangs are looking to finish their regular season strong at Canterbury on Wednesday.
