Millbrook Comeback Bid Falls Short

In the opening game of the Rivers Holiday Tournament, Millbrook showed signs of post-exam rust throughout much of the game. After myriad turnovers against Beaver Country Day's physical defensive pressure, Millbrook found themselves down 15 with 6:30 minutes to go. Spurred by some defensive pressure of their own, the Mustangs chipped away at the lead to make it a four-point game with 1:30 to go. Alas, a couple empty possessions down the stretch doomed Millbrook to a 60-56 loss. The Mustangs will be back in action tomorrow morning at 10 am against Governor's Academy.
