Hard to accept the loss, but the effort was good.

Bergstedt
Could have gone either way. We had some good scoring opportunites and played strong defensively. Just fell a little short on the attacking end as we could not put the ball away.
The first half ended scoreless. We played solid in the back and created some chances up front. Greg Levin continued to impress defensively as a center mid, but had his best game offensively as well as he seemed to step up his game as it became more physical. Other notable performances were from Kyle Proctor, Ethan Kessler, and Ramsey Morris who worked well together to minimize Berskhire's chances on goal. Colby Martins also did exceptionally well today in defense, but was able to anticipate play on several ocassions and after intercepting moved the ball forward off the dribble. In one play Colby took on 5 Berkshire players on a run he started from midfield and forced a great save from the Berkshire keeper. Nat Clizbe also did well in pressuring and winning the ball in advance positions to start the attack. While the whole team played hard until the end of the game, Berkshire managed to put one in in the second half. Will Ricker also played well in goal until getting injured in the second half, but substitute Justinas Norkus put in some good minutes in goal and showed both teams how it's possible to punt the ball the length of the field. Apirith Sothea and Nick Sosnow also added good energy to the team with the positive performances in the second half.
