Home Opener Win

On what would be consisdered a perfect day for golf in Barrow, Alaska, the Mustangs hosted the Saints of Canterbury at Millbrook Golf and Tennis Club.  Coming off a disappointing opening match, the Millbrook team bettered Canterbury in the nine-hole competition.  Millbrook was led by captain Sam Rosenbaum who earned medalist honors with a 40.  Jake Gagnon carded a 41 and his playing partner, Joe Grossman, posted a 43for the second time this season, including a chip in birdie.  Elise Almgren improved over her first match by 10 strokes and scored 53.  In her first competitive golf ever, Sarah Hoover contributed with a 59.  Jayden Reaves showed drastic improvement, but his score was not used in the team total.
